He believes that working on skill sets to meet those goals is far more important than teaching skill sets students have no intention of using. All ages and all skill levels are welcome.

Brian Callaghan Music teaches both acoustic and electric guitar lessons. Students may choose from learning in his Portland studio or via Skype instead. For an extra charge, Brian will travel to your home in the Portland area. Students have free reign over the genre of music they wish to learn. Choose from classical, rock, pop, jazz, folk, and country.
Aiming to build “leadership through musical arts,” Maine Academy of Modern Music offers lessons in contemporary music for school aged youth. Lessons are available in voice, guitar, bass, drums, piano, brass, strings, and synthesizers. In addition to lessons the academy also features camps and bands.
