Memorial Day Observance

The parade starts at 11:00 am and we will once again stop briefly to lay a memorial wreath at the Memorial Stone on Main Street after the parade has gone down Main Street and turned around at Pond Road. Then we will proceed to Memorial Park to continue our program.

We want to be sure you know that we value the presence of Wayne’s Select Board and Town Manager at this special town gathering. We welcome you to march in the parade, or ride in an antique car-just meet us in the Wayne Church parking lot by 10:45. Or meet us in the park! We will have some chairs available to the public for seating during the program but hope for a beautiful day where many sit on the lawn or bring their chair.

Memorial Day gathering is a long-honored tradition in Wayne and we hope you’ll invite a veteran or a friend or neighbor to join us.
