4th Of July at Penobscot Marine Museum

Whether on land or at sea in the late 1800s, Searsport locals always celebrated Independence Day with decorations and entertainment. From 10am-1pm, enjoy traditional activities like croquet, bean bag toss, and children’s crafts on the museum’s crescent. Between 2pm and 4pm, local author Linda Buckmaster will be in the Visitors Center autographing copies of her new book, Elemental: A Miscellany of Salt Cod and Islands.
